Termite Removal

Discovering that your home or business has been infested with termites can be an extremely stressful experience. Termites can quickly and silently cause a significant amount of damage to your home or business, and consequently quick and professional termite services should be implemented as soon as a termite infestation is suspected. Arizona Termite Control offers a free in-home termite inspection in order to assess the totality of your termite infestation. Professional termite services are recommended instead of do-it-yourself methods for a variety of reasons. Primarily, it is critically important that every termite is exterminated during the treatment process. If termites remain after the treatment process is completed, then these termites will continue to multiple, consequently continuing to cause silent damage to your home or business. The professionals at Arizona Termite Control have extensive experience in locating termite infestations and are skilled in a variety of treatment options to ensure that the termite infestation is completely eliminated.

There are three main types of termites including dry wood termites, damp wood termites and subterranean termites. The dry wood termites primarily live in the tropics and do not typically thrive in temperate climates. Damp wood termites mainly live in the western portion of the United States and feast on damp or wet wood caused by flooding or seasonal monsoon rainfall. Subterranean termites exist in many places around the United States, and have unique reproductive abilities, making them extremely difficult to completely eradicate. The type of termite infesting your home or business is dependent on where you live, and can be identified during a Free Termite Inspection from Arizona Termite Control.

Once termites are located, the professionals at Arizona Termite Control will completely remove the damaging termites. There are multiple professional methods included in termite removal, which include liquid pesticides as well as tenting fumigation. Liquid termite removal services involve spreading a liquid pesticide around the perimeter of the home or building, creating an invisible liquid barrier. The pesticide will seep into every available crack and kill all termites on contact. The liquid termite option can also be used on wooden fences or porches where termites may potentially attack. Unlike tent fumigation, using liquid pesticide treatment services allows for minimal interruption for your home or business, as there are no required removals of plants or flowers, as well as no removal of canned foods, medications or cosmetics. In addition, liquid termite removal poses no risk to landscaping or roof damages, and requires no special tree trimming. While using liquid pesticides to remove termites in your home, the termite professionals at Arizona Termite Control will also use a residual material at key entry points to preventing termites from returning.

Fumigation tenting is another professional option that can be used in the termite removal process. This removal method is completed by enclosing the entire infested building in a rubber tent while tightly sealing the building.  The building is then evacuated and left for around a week in order for the chemicals to have time to permeate into the wood and completely eliminate termite populations. Due to the complexity of the chemicals involved, tenting fumigation can only be done by a licensed professional exterminator.
